What an exhausting day!!!

Today was so rough for Maya. She spent all day with her mommy planning her daddy's birthday. At the end of the day, she was out!! (She did a great job planning and executing a perfect birthday)

She continues to change each day. She definitely recognizes our voices. She recently discovered her own hair and now plays with it when she is feeding. And, she is now wearing 3-6 month pj's. (yup...she's 7 weeks old and has outgrown her 0-3 month ones)

Sleep time continues to be an adventure. One day this week she actually slept 7 hours straight and yesterday she slept 5 hours straight. That's good, but what is not so good is that she continues to refuse to take a nap during the day (at least a nap longer than 20 min).

Now that summer is almost here I am sure we will be spending a lot of time outside....this girl LOVES the outdoors.

Wow....6 weeks...

Can't believe that it has been almost six weeks since Maya arrived. She's still growing and getting more of a personality. (like that wasn't going to happen...) We measured her a couple days ago and it looks like she is approaching 23 inches.

We made the transition to cloth diapers full time and it is going very good. I think she loves the diapers, I know if my underwear was as soft as those I would love them.

Her sleep patterns are...err...dare I say...inconsistent. She's still sleeping at night but will now sleep for an hour and a half at a time some nights and 3-4 hours others. We think she's still getting used to this whole 'Planet Earth' thing.

She also took a trip with her mommy to the Zoo on Friday. Here's a pic...

Happy Easter!! And....

I'm one month old! How time flies.

Maya is still growing. Today we realized that she is actually at the end of some of her 0-3 month sleepers. (meaning, her feet/legs are out of room) Luckily, some of the larger cut ones still fit. She also has been giving her mommy hell the past few days. She wants to feed every hour or so and will not take a nap during the day. She does sleep at night, so we are not going to complain.

Hope everyone has a great Easter. Maya wanted us to share her first Easter picture with you....

A big night...

Last night was a big night for Maya... She slept in her own room and crib for the first time. Best news? She did great. We have been slowly transitioning her to her crib/room for the past couple of days for naps and she had not slept longer than 15 min at a time up there. Liz and I slept in the room as well, but it was a big step.

In fact, today she took over an hour nap in her room without us around.

She's so independent....

I have been bad at uploading pictures, but I just uploaded a bunch...check them out.
