I have toofuns.....

Yes, Maya has two teeth. Yes, she's 5 months old. Yes, Liz must have supercharged/premium milk.

So, a couple weeks ago, Maya was really fussy on a Sunday night. Normal bedtime is 8pm-ish. This night, she was up until after 10:30 and was Ms. Cranky Pants. We thought maybe she was teething, but she was just about 5 months old. (too early, right?!?!) Nope. About 3 days later we noticed two little teeth in her bottom gums right in the middle about ready to greet the world.

About 2 day after that they broke through and now are about 1/8 of an inch though the gums. Our little girl is all growns up.....

Everything else is going great. She's showing us new tricks every day and loves to stand now. So fun. Liz and I had an impromptu rap session with her a couple days ago and she was laughing. (not sure if it was because she was having fun or if she thought mommy and daddy were tools)

A lot has happened....

First, I've been very bad about posting the past few weeks. I will get better, promise.

Maya turns 5 months old in a couple days. She's so grown up now. She continues to change more and more each day and is constantly discovering new things. Lately, she has been looking at her fingers and hands with a look like, "What are these things? Are they attached??" She also will be putting her feet into her mouth soon, she already got her mouth on her big toe, so it's a matter of time.

We just got back from San Francisco (Maya's first trip). It was great. She was perfect on the flights and people commented that they didn't even realize we had a baby with us. She seemed to have a good time in the Bay Area, although, we may have bored her since she did tend to sleep a lot. But, all in all, she was a trooper and was beat by the time we got back to Louisville.
