Nine Month Checkup Results...

The #'s are in. Here they are. At 9 Months...... Maya weighs in at 19lbs 4 oz and measures 27.5 inches. (She is now half as tall as mommy...haha!! Just kidding Liz)

Everything is going great. She gets to see Grandma and Papa tomorrow. (along with the other Nanda cousins)

Dear Santa.....I don't like you....

Good Times...well...not for Maya, but for us.

9 Months...

9 Months.... Wow. Time sure flies. Maya continues to grow at a rapid rate. (both physically and..well...personality wise) She's up to 8 teeth with what looks like 3 or 4 more on the way in the very near future. She has her 9 month check-up this Friday, so we will know the measurements soon.

She loves walking around now (with us holding her hands) and has started to get a bit more daring by letting go of one hand. She also likes to climb the stairs. (again, with our help) Food wise, she's eating like a champ. Mommy has been making a lot of yummy food for her (sweet potatoes, peaches, apple sauce, peas, carrots, etc)

At this point, her favorite words to say are 'Da-Da', 'Ma-Ma', 'Na-Na', and 'Buh-Buh' (we assume it's Bye-Bye, since she waves when she says it...yeah, we're smart...we figured that out on our own) She also loves to laugh, blow raspberries, and roar. (sorry, Daddy taught her that...my bad) If the mood strikes her just right, she will even kiss you on the cheek and make a 'Mmmmm-mah!' sound.

Looking forward to Christmas. Although, she is not a fan of the jolly fat dude. (Picture to come...)

So....what's going on?

It's been quite a long time since we posted. What's going on, you ask? Well...lots.

Since the last time we talked, Maya got to experience her first Halloween. I think she enjoyed it. (Daddy did too...since he got all her candy. HA-Ha!! I knew I would eventually find a Trick-or-Treat loop-hole. Those of you that don't know, I Trick-or-Treated until I was a Senior in HS. I told everyone that I was 'big for my age.')

Something else was going on that day...hmmmm....what was it? Oh yeah, Mommy's birthday!!
