Maya is now walking. (at about 10 months and 1 week) She is not running around by any stretch, but she has taken up to 6 straight steps without our help. (only a couple falls and one major fall that resulted in big time water-works) But, she was fine.
p.s. - She also loves to kick the soccer ball around. (Daddy is proud)

Happy New Year!! (also a bit late...)
Maya saw her first new year! It was pretty eventful. In fact, Maya had more fun than her Mommy did. (I think Mommy was asleep at 8pm and Maya was asleep at 8:15pm) Just kidding, Liz. We did have our furnace go out at about 10 till midnight, but luckily we got it fixed.
2010 should be a lot of fun. It's hard to believe that 2009 is already gone and that Maya is now 10 months old. (where did the time go?) She will be walking soon and she is talking up a storm. The cutest thing she does now is give you kisses on your cheek.
A little late...but...Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas everyone! Daddy was really late in posting this, but we will forgive him.Fine...I am very tardy. Maya's first Christmas was great. She got to see her Grandma and Papa the week before (and her Aunt, Uncle and Cousins!) and the rest of her Aunts and Uncles and Nani and Pops. Still not a fan of the big Santa dude, but she will learn. We did wear her out on Christmas day. Too much to play with, poor little girl. Santa was good to her, that is for sure.
Hopefully next year she will sit on Santa's lap without melting down. (fingers crossed)
