Today is my birthday!!
I can't believe it has been a year since little Maya joined us on the third rock from the sun. I know people said that kids grow up fast, but man, I didn't realize how fast they really do.
As you can see, Maya had cake today. And, I have to say, she L-O-V-E-D it. (was there any doubt?? I mean, really??) We all spent the day at the zoo and she got to see a baby Giraffe, baby Gorilla and baby Elephant.
What's gone on the past few weeks leading up to her b-day, you ask? Well, our little munchkin now likes to walk everywhere. She spends every night before bed walking and playing in the basement. I am very happy to report that she likes to kick a soccer ball around. (yes!) She's eating big girl food now and loves to drink water. (Proper hydration is a must) We have her 1 year check-up tomorrow, so I will post the 'numbers' once we get them.
**I just noticed that the link to pictures/videos was incorrect. (It was sending you to an old site that didn't have all the new uploads for this year.) It should work now and you will be able to see all the pictures from 2010 (and some from 2009) sorry about that!!
